oh where to begin, the mold in the bathroom was a joy to find, and the pee stain on the blanket just added a nice touch. also, it would ve been nice to at least receive a complimentary upgrade after such a charming experience, but alas, I just couldn’t believe the lack of special treatment!

I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at the AmericInn in Coralville. The beds felt nice and clean. The blinds did a great job blocking out the light, making for a restful night. The breakfast spread had some good options, especially the biscuits and gravy. The staff treated us well and seemed eager to help. However, a couple of things could use some improvement. The pillows on the king bed were oddly shaped and lumpy, which made them uncomfortable for good sleep. Also, I noticed that the edges of the carpet needed vacuuming. a thick layer of dust was around. The back entrance didn’t lock properly, raising safety concerns. Overall, while I appreciated many aspects of the stay, these issues somewhat clouded the experience.

Wi-Fi was slow, but the pool area had nice sun loungers. Laundry was convenient.

the pool was super dirty with gross stains. plus, they have a grassy area outside which was cool for our dog and the staff was friendly when I asked for extra towels.
